Diagnosing complex anterior segment conditions and planning challenging surgeries can be difficult when clinical findings are subtle or unclear. In this case-based webinar, Prof. Bachmann will present 4–5 real-world diagnostic and surgical “unknowns” involving the cornea and angle. Participants will be guided through each case using limited initial information before anterior segment imaging is revealed. Imaging modalities such as anterior segment OCT and ultrasound will demonstrate how critical anatomic details can clarify diagnoses and change management decisions. The cases will highlight applications in corneal dystrophies, narrow or occludable angles, etc. Emphasis will be placed on when to use imaging, how to interpret key findings, and how imaging directly influences surgical planning and outcomes. This interactive session is designed to help eye health professionals build confidence and use anterior segment imaging as a powerful tool in complex clinical decision-making. (Level: Intermediate & Advanced) Lecturer: Dr. Björn Bachmann, Ophthalmologist, University Hospital Cologne, Department of Ophthalmology, Germany Language: English The webinar is intended for eye care professionals.
