During this live webinar, we will discuss the nonsurgical and surgical management of the spectrum pediatric eye emergencies. We will review the current guidelines for different types of eyelid lacerations, hyphemas, and pediatric open globe injuries. We will discuss long-term sequelae of trauma including traumatic cataracts, glaucoma, corneal scarring, and retinal detachment in the setting of amblyopia development. Finally, we will learn how to counsel parents to best avoid ocular trauma in our patients.
